Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Federal Death Row Inmates Project. We welcome your opinions, but we do have some rules (named for the people who made us need them, in case you want to live in infamy here ):

• The Scott Lorincz Rule: People are people. People are inmates. People are convicts. People are murderers. People are NOT animals, dogs, maggots, or monsters. Save your hate for a worthy cause (and trust us, if you are going to persist in hating, we'll make you explain yourself).
• The Sam Dorn Rule: If you are not prepared to have your opinions confronted, you don't belong here. We challenge all viewpoints in an effort to encourage dialogue and push boundaries. We haven't selected a "right" side, but you are welcome to try and convince us. If you are too sensitive for that (the Sherry Walden Sub-rule), please remember this is OUR page. we will not be "going away" and if YOU are the one who has "had enough," see your way out. You're welcome to come back when you're stronger.
• The Other Sam Dorn Rule: Don't spam us. It's really very childish, especially if you are a self-acknowledge ex-convict who claims to have become an "adult" while incarcerated. Make a strong enough point and you won't have to copy/paste it on all of our posts.
• The Dua Lipa Lady Rule: We didn't even see your Twitter handle, and frankly we don't care to see it. Please do not spam our page with irrelevant information. We're sure Dua Lipa would not appreciate it, but if she tells us otherwise, we will revise the rule.
• The Dan Unger Rule: If you don't like what you see and have nothing to add to the conversation, keep scrolling. Sometimes, the - in this case - literal dog shit that pops into your head doesn't belong here.
• The Jani Rule: If us sharing content from experts is being "dependent" on them, then call us dependent. We WILL cite people and share updates because that's how information is disseminated.
• The Aaron Martin Rule: The things we discuss here are not funny. Save the emojis and the "lol" for your open mic night.
• The Nathan King Official Rule: Don't come at us with hypotheticals. We aren't in the business of deciding how the law works or what moral standards people should abide by. Also, if your hypothetical is too specific, we are going to start thinking it's a confession.
• The Other Nathan King Official Rule: Don't threaten us with lawsuits. Especially not for slander. We are typing. At MOST, it would have to be considered libel.
• The odwvonn Rule: Do not try to scam us. Don't tell us you are somebody you are not. We are in the business of fact-checking, and if you claim to be the son of a man executed and you are not, we will find out. We won't be happy.
• The William Bucasas Rule: If you share every single one of our posts with personal commentary about what is just, we see the notification. We just really don't have anything to add to your made-up mind. Thanks for the analytics.
• The Ashley Kincaid Eve Rule: Don't block us and then refute what we post. Don't speak ill behind our backs. It's not a good look and we know.
• The James Paul/Joel Corrales Rule: We have to read every comment post. Please, spare us having to read childish ad hominem attacks. We beg you.
• The Charles Kawalsky/Spooky Prior Daniel Jackson Rule: If you are fearful of getting blocked for your views because they might be interpreted as a call for violence by Twitter, rethink your views.
